2024 (Sophomore): Played in 12 games, starting all 12 ... recorded 24 total tackles -- 12 solo and 12 assisted ... had 0.5 tackles-for-loss ... picked off a pass for seven yards ... had three pass breakups ... blocked a kick against South Carolina State (10/5/24) ... recorded four tackles at Western Illinois (10/19/24) and Charleston Southern (10/26/24). 2023 (Freshman): Played in nine games ... made his debut against New Mexico (9/9/23) ... had six total tackles -- four solo and two assisted ... recorded two tackles against the Lobos and UT Martin ... also forced a fumble against the Skyhawks (11/4/23). HIGH SCHOOL: Hunter was named to the Region 7-7A first-team defensive roster and was awarded the Touchdown Club of Gwinnett's Cecil Morris Award as an all-county caliber player whose season was cut short to injury. It was still a fruitful campaign with a punt block against Meadowcreek and an interception return for a touchdown against Duluth. He finished the season with four interceptions, two forced fumbles, two punts blocked for touchdowns, 16 pass breakups and led his county in turnovers. In his career, he collected over 200 tackles, had 30 pass breakups, six interceptions and four blocked punts.
