Get to Know Colter ... At what age did you start playing football and how did you get into football? I started playing flag football basically the moment I could run. My dad was my coach and the reason I started to love the game. From then on he was either on the sideline coaching for me or screaming in the stands. Who is your biggest role model? My biggest role model was someone who lived a long time ago, yet still lives – Jesus Christ. He saved my life and now I do my best to model my life after His. Tell us about your hometown/where you're from? I'm from a small town called Cheney, Kansas. We have one high school and the most supportive community in the state. 2025: Played in one game in 2025 against Wagner. High School: Played under head coach Shelby Wehrman at Cheney High School, won the 2023 3A State Championship … At safety, made 67 tackles, four interceptions, 3.0 tackles-for-loss and two pass breakups, earning 3A First Team defense honors .. Was named a finalist for the 3A Defensive Player of the Year Award and was named to the SportsInKansas 2023 Top-100 Senior Players list.
