AS A SOPHOMORE (2025): • Has added 20 lbs. since arriving on campus. AS A FRESHMAN (2024): • One of the top freshman performers in school history, he started nine games. • Was called into action earlier than expected with injuries to Grayson McCall. • Ranked eighth in the ACC in total offense touchdowns in 2024 with 22. • Also ranked eighth in passing efficiency with a 143.97 mark, 10th in the league in passing yards (2,413) and t-8th in TDs (17). • Ranked seventh among all FBS freshmen in passing yards with 2,413 (even though he only started nine games). He ranked second nationally among true freshmen. • Posted the No. 18 passing yards mark for a single season in school history - second-best mark ever by a freshman. Philip Rivers had 3,054 as a freshman in 2000 while starting 12 games. • Ranked 17th in school history in single season touchdown passes - second for a freshman (behind Rivers and tied with Russell Wilson) • Ranked sixth in the ACC in completion percentage (.649). That was the sixth-best mark in school history and the best for a freshman in school history. • Rushed for three touchdowns vs. Georgia Tech - that was the most rushing TDs for a Pack QB since Russell Wilson in 2010 (vs. FSU). • Completed 18 of his 20 throws in the win over Stanford, connecting for a season-high three TDs. That .900 completion percentage is the 17th-best in the FBS this season. • Boasted a 144.0 efficiency mark for the season - the No. 7 mark in school history and best ever by a freshman. • Just the third true freshman (Philip Rivers in 2000, MJ Morris in 2022) to start a game for the Wolfpack since the turn of the century - his first start came at Clemson. • Threw for 329 yards vs. Syracuse, most for a Wolfpack true freshman since Rivers in 2000. • Named ACC Rookie of the Week for his performance in the win at Cal. Posted 306 passing yards (second straight 300+ yard game) and led the Wolfpack back from a 13-point fourth quarter deficit (despite being sacked six times). • Threw a 75-yard touchdown pass to Noah Rogers vs Syracuse - that was the longest for a Pack QB since 2022 (Devin Leary, 75). • Also had a 72-yard completion vs. The Orange, making him the first NC State player to complete two passes of 70+ yards in at least 30 years. • Came off the bench for an injured Grayson McCall vs. Wake Forest and threw for 272 yards and two TDs. • Came off the bench late in the first half vs. LaTech to lead the Wolfpack to a win. Was 12-17 for 119 yards in the second half, leading the Pack to three scoring drives. One was a 76 yard, 8:11 drive that ended in a Kendrick Raphael TD. (NC State trailed 6-17 at the half). • Scored the final TD himself in the 30-20 win, taking it in from the one for the score. • Also ran for a score in the win over Northern Illinois. • Saw action for six snaps vs. Tennessee. HIGH SCHOOL: • In his second year as a starter (2022) under head coach Dameon Jones, helped power Chaminade-Madonna Prep to an undefeated regular season and a state title in the Sunshine State’s new 1M classification. During his sophomore campaign, Chaminade-Madonna won the Florida 3A state title. • Career Stats: Totaled 9,005 passing yards with 116 touchdowns, averaging 204.7 yards per game and finishing with a career QB rating of 132.8. • Honors: Named a team captain. The 2M-1M Florida two-time Offensive Player of the Year. Earned first-team all-state honors three times. • Senior Stats: Passed for 3,125 yards and boasted a 71.4% completion percentage. Threw 47 touchdowns and averaged 223.2 yards per game. • Junior Stats: . Completed 203 of 289 pass attempts (70.2%) for 3,355 yards with 45 TDs to go against just 5 INTs. Also ran for 215 yards and two TDs. • Sophomore Stats: Completed just over 59% of his passes for 2,061 yards with 19 TD and 6 INT to his credit and also rushed for 155 yards and two more TD while averaging 14.1 yards per carry. Also caught four passes for 47 yards. • Freshman Stats: In only four games, was 18 for 27 passing for 256 yards and three touchdowns. Had a .667 completion percentage. PERSONAL • Joined the Pack in January of 2024. • Major: Enrolled in the exploratory studies program.
