Carter Lenzen

2024 (Sophomore): Made an appearance in seven games, serving as one of the Hawks primary long snappers. He made his collegiate debut against Lincoln (9/7/24). - GLVC Academic All-Conference - H.A.W.K. Award Winner 2023 (Freshman): Did not see action. - GLVC Academic All-Conference Personal: Carter Lenzen hails from Byrnes Mill, Missouri, and is a proud graduate of Northwest High School, home of the Lions. The son of Andy and Krista Lenzen, Carter shares his journey with his sibling, Andrew "Drew" Lenzen. Carter was named Northwest Student of the Year, served as first chair baritone saxophone for all four years, and uniquely bridged arts and athletics by being the first student to participate in both marching band and football simultaneously. On the field, he earned All-Metro Long Snapper honors and helped lead his team to the 2020 Suburban Conference Championship. In addition to his performance and leadership in band and sports, Carter made history as Northwest High School’s first student public address announcer and pioneered the school’s sports communication program. Off the field, Carter is a passionate podcaster, community servant, junior football volunteer, and a dynamic PA announcer for local events. Carter’s sports loyalty spans many teams: the Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Cardinals, Blues, Battlehawks, and St. Louis City SC. He looks up to figures like Luke Rhodes, BJ Wilson, Phil Kessel, Connor McDavid, and Pat McAfee. Why QU? I chose QU to get the best possible education for the degree I want to pursue.
