Get to Know Bryce ... At what age did you start playing football and how did you get into football? I started playing football when I was 5. My older brother played and I wanted to do whatever he did. Who is your biggest role model? My dad. He is a perfect example of the man I want to be when I grow up. Who was your favorite player growing up and who do you model your game after? De'Anthony Thomas. He was faster than anyone on the field. Nobody could catch him. That's how I try to play. 2025: Played in all 12 games, recorded one tackle on special teams. 2024: Played in four games in his first season at KU ... Lindenwood: Made his Kansas debut against Lindenwood ... Was targeted one time ... at BYU: Saw game action at BYU ... Colorado: Saw playing time in the win over Colorado ... at Baylor: Made an appearance in the season finale at Baylor. 2023 (at Syracause): Appeared in three games as a reserve wide receiver, but did not record any statistics ... Made his collegiate debut vs. Colgate. High School: Wichita Large School Postseason Football Player of the Year … KFBCA First Team All-State Selection … Played at Maize High School under head coach Gary Guzman … Was a three-year starter and his teams appeared in two state championships … As a senior, caught 37 passes for 844 yards and scored eight touchdowns … Two-time team captain … He led his team to three regional championships, two sectional championships, two sub-state championships and a pair of state runner up finishes in high school … Also played basketball and ran track in high school … Was the Kansas 5A state champion in the 100-meter dash.
