2025 Season: Made six starts and appeared in nine total games in his true freshman season…made eight catches for 174 yards and two touchdowns on the year…first career reception and touchdown came on a 1-yard pass against Houston Christian (Oct. 11)…had a career-high four catches for 126 yards against Lamar (Oct. 25), including a career-long 78-yard touchdown reception…had a catch in each of his final four appearances…had three rush attempts on the season with a career-long 21-yard carry against East Texas A&M (Oct. 4). High School: Three-year letterman for coach Alan Metzel's Buckeyes … earned first-team all-district honors as a senior, catching 50 passes for 727 yards and nine touchdowns … added 32 tackles and three interceptions as Gilmer reached the second round of the state playoffs … caught 60 passes for 886 yards and 12 touchdowns while rushing for 257 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries as a junior when Gilmer won the state championship … added 50 tackles and five interceptions and was the state Most Valuable Player … caught 14 passe for 140 yards as a sophomore as the Buckeyes went 12-1 and reached the third round of the state playoffs … four-year track letterman qualified for the state meet in the high jump as a junior … two-year basketball letterman … member of the National Honor Society and the A/B Honor Roll, posting a 3.4 GPA.
