2025: Saw action in two games as a freshman on special teams…Recorded his first career tackle in the season finale against Portland State (Nov. 22)…Gained valuable game experience late in the year and contributed on multiple special teams units… Personal: Son of Jessica and Brandon Wilkes. Has two younger siblings, Noah (14) and Kleine (3). Graduated from Wheat Ridge High School in 2025, where he was a two-sport athlete in football and track. Ranked top three all-time in Colorado high school football history for both receiving yards (3,352) and receptions (231), with 37 total touchdowns. Earned 2024 All-Colorado honors, was named the 2024 Jeffco Conference Football Player of the Year, and was a three-time First Team All-Conference selection and team MVP. Also an eight-time state track qualifier across the 100m, 200m, 400m, and relays. Greatest sports moment came on 9/5/24 against Stanley Lake, recording 6 catches for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns, along with an interception—all in a single quarter. Enjoys weightlifting, swimming, and gaming. Pursuing a degree in Business. Chose UNC because of the coaching staff, location, and the opportunity to help change the trajectory of the program.
