Why did you choose to attend Macalester? I wanted to start my own journey, deliberately choosing a location that none of my family was familiar with and the school seemed to be a hub of diverse intellectuals with a caring atmosphere. What has your experience at Macalester meant to you? It has offered me a great opportunity for self-growth. How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual? Playing sports in college has made me realize how important they are to me. I have started to learn what true discipline is, and how to build a lifestyle around my academic and athletic goals.
