High School: Originally from Powder Springs, Georgia where he attended McEachern High School where he played under Head Coach Kareem Reid and position coaches Luis George and Chris Cody ... During his senior season, he helped lead McEachern to a region title at the 7A level where he finished with 45 tackles, nine tackles for loss, five pass breakups and five interceptions ... During his junior year, he had 36 tackles, nine tackles for loss, two pass breakups and saw time the team's punt returner while in his sophomore year he had two interceptions ... One of the top games of his career came during his senior year in a playoff game against Newton as he had a pair of interceptions, two tackles for loss and six total tackles ... Also was a member of the track & field team where he advanced to the state finals of the triple jump and 7th place as a team ... Uncle, Terrance Brown, was a wide receiver at William & Mary, other uncle, Henry W Bowles Jr, was a running back at Morehouse and cousin, Greg Bowles, was a Hall of Fame shortstop at North Alabama ... Also received offers from UConn, South Florida, Elon and Austin Peay.
