2025 co-Defense Scout Team Award Edge rusher who is going through his second spring with the squad after enrolling at South Carolina in January of 2025… raw but talented athlete who looks to take the next step after redshirting in his first season on campus. 2025 (Freshman) True freshman Edge rusher… enrolled in January and went through spring drills… saw action in four games, preserving his redshirt… appeared against South Carolina State, Kentucky, Alabama and Ole Miss… lone tackle came in the win over Kentucky… selected by the coaches as a co-winner of the Defense Scout Team Award, along with Cedric Cisse. HIGH SCHOOL Graduated from Sumter (S.C.) High School at the end of the first semester in 2024… coached by Mark Barnes… led Sumter to a 12-1 record and a spot in the State 5A semifinals as a senior… accumulated 112 tackles in his senior campaign, including 21.5 tackles for loss and led the team in sacks with 10.0 and quarterback hurries with 14… also caused four fumbles and recovered four fumbles… named to the South Carolina Football Coaches Association 5A All-State team… selected to play in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas where he worked primarily at linebacker… collected 96 tackles including 25 tackles for loss and six sacks as a junior, leading the Gamecocks to an 11-2 season and a spot in the quarterfinals of South Carolina’s AAAAA playoffs in 2023… also got some snaps on the offensive side of the ball.
