2025: Liberty League All-Academic...In the season opener against Johns Hopkins, Mellis assisted on three tackles (9/6)...Made two solo tackles and one pass breakup in the 45-14 victory against Alfred (9/13)...Recorded two tackles in the 65-3 victory over Hilbert (9/20)...Made two tackles and three pass breakups in the 13-7 victory over Hobart (9/27)...Tallied three total tackles and one pass breakup in the 10-6 victory over Rochester (10/4)...Had six total tackles in the 24-7 victory over St. Lawrence (10/11)...Made seven total tackles and two pass breakups in the game against Union (10/25)...Tallied one tackle and forced one fumble in the 66th Cortaca Jug victory against Cortland (11/15). 2024: Finished the season with 84 receiving yards on eight catches and 21 yards on punt returns...Mellis caught 3 passes for 24 yards against Endicott...9/14...Mellis caught 2 passes for 40 yards versus Curry...9/28... High School: Andrew went to Pine Richland and played football and lacrosse. He won two football state championships in 2020 and 2022 and was a two-time first team all-conference honoree. Personal: A finance major with a minor in economics, he is the son of George and Veronica Mellis. He has two sisters who attended the College at Wooster and played lacrosse.
