Amari Roberson

2024 Season Was a member of the team but did not appear in a game. Prior to Sacramento State Played two seasons at San Mateo JC. Appeared in seven games and finished the year with 14 total tackles with an interception, tackle-for-loss and a pass breakup. Had three tackles and an interception in a 30-27 win over American River JC in the NorCal championship game. Recorded a season-high five stops against Riverside JC in the California 3C2A championship game. As a freshman in 2022, he was credited with nine tackles with three PBUs and a fumble recovery. Team went 12-1 on the way to winning the California 3C2A championship. Defense surrendered just five points in the three playoff games and surrendered 11.8 points per game throughout the year. High School A 2020 graduate of San Leandro HS. Played three varsity seasons and finished his career with 98 total tackles. Had five interceptions as a senior with a long return of 29 yards. Also forced three fumbles and recovered one during the year. Tallied 55 tackles as a junior, including nine for loss. Recorded five or more tackles in six games with a high of nine against Castro Valley HS. Also played on offense where he had 23 career receptions for 316 yards and four touchdowns.
