Started all three years at receiver, while also starting his senior season at defensive back. Totaled 173 receptions for 3,283 yards and 29 touchdowns during his career. Led the state of Texas and was second in the nation for receiving yards his senior season with 2,056 yards and 19 TDs on 102 receptions. Was a two-time first-team all-district selection and was the District Offensive MVP his senior season. Caught 43 passes for 900 yards and nine TDs his junior campaign.
